Customer reviews
Comfortable accommodation, good breakfast, welcoming and helpful
We stayed one night during our ride up the coastal path. Before the booking Christine made the helpful suggestion to make a table booking at one of the pubs in the nearest village 3 miles away (as there are no eating places in Fenwick itself). We were able to drop off some of our bike bags early to save lugging them around Lindesfarne.
When we arrived later (wet after a rain shower) we could park our bikes safely in the garage and let our waterproofs dry in Christine’s drying room. Our large double room was comfortable and airy, with a nice en suite bathroom. Very comfy bed and the quiet location helped get a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was tasty and nicely prepared.
Christine was very friendly and covid-aware. We would certainly recommend this place to stay, providing you plan for evening food elsewhere.
One night whilst cycling NCM1

Lovely friendly host

Been Before and Hope to Return
Christine is truly the Queen of B and Bs!
This was our second stay and every bit as lovely as the first. A beautiful room, a wonderful breakfast and so much thought and spoiling in between.
Very special. Christine provided lots of information about local travel, places to eat etc. A real pleasure to return to meet her again.
Wonderful B&B – faultless
The Fenwick B&B made for the perfect stop after our first full day of walking the Northumberland coast from Berwick-Upon-Tweed. Our room was spacious, quiet, with glorious views and had everything we needed. It was also spotlessly clean and a lot of attention had been paid to ensure COVID-safety while also maintaining a relaxed feel.
Christine was an excellent host, greeting us with a warm welcome (even though we unexpectedly arrived an hour early) and she was very kind in driving us to and from a nearby village for dinner. We greatly appreciated this generosity after a long day’s walking!
For anyone looking for restaurant recommendations, we highly recommend the Black Bull in Lowick.
Breakfast was delicious and vegetarians well catered for. Thank you Christine, we would definitely visit if in the area again.
A very relaxing stay
The rooms are large and very clean. Breakfasts are delicious with plenty of choice. The house is situated right on the Coast and Castles cycle route/National cycle route 1. Christine is a perfect hostess and was happy to store our cycles in her garage. Covid precautions were all in place. Christine’s Bowen therapy treatments are very relaxing. We had a lovely stay and can recommend Fenwick B & B. There is a self catering cottage as well.
Top of the range place to stay
We stayed at this lovely B&B when completing St Cuthberts Way. It was our last overnight stop before crossing to Holy Island. It is of the very highest standard and beautifully run by the proprietress Christine, she is a very good hostess and the property is stunning. She serves an excellent breakfast. Although there are no facilities for food in Fenwick she arranged free transport to Lowick (there and back) so we could have a few drinks and an evening meal. Top of the range place to stay.
We cannot recommend this B&B highly enough
We stayed with Christine last week (June 2019) and totally endorse the other reviews on this site. Absolutely nothing is too much trouble and the welcome we received at the end of a long day’s walking was a wonderful gift! Our room and en-suite was large, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was plentiful, cooked to order and delicious. Christine is the perfect host – friendly but not intrusive, caring and funny: we are already working out how we can go back!
We really cannot recommend this stay highly enough.
Christine is the most wonderful and friendly hostess, going out of her way to ensure an enjoyable and comfortable experience. The room is large, comfortable and with a beautiful view. I would highly recommend a visit here and I look forward to staying here again.
Five Star Accommodation
Stayed for one night at the end of a recent ‘Cuthbert’s Way Walk.
Both the accommodation and hospitality we received was truly remarkable.
Would recommend a stay here to all.
Just Fantastic
We stayed with Christine in October 2018 whilst walking the St Cuthbert way. From our first contact Christine has been the nicest person we have ever stayed with. Her house the B&B is absolutely gorgeous. The quality of beds for example are high quality. She even had foot cream in the bathroom. She gave us a lift to the nearest pub for food booked us a table. Breakfast was of the same quality nothing too much for her. Wow just the best place we have ever stayed.
